Tenure-Track position in Chinese (Worcester, MA)

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in Chinese to begin in August 2020. Candidates must have native or near native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, a Ph.D. by the start of the appointment in applied or theoretical linguistics, language pedagogy, or a related field, and U.S.-based teaching experience in Chinese language at the college level.

This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review, and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty. Tenure-track faculty are eligible for travel support and reimbursement of relocation costs within the College’s published policies.
