Chinese Language Lecturer (Princeton, NJ)

The Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for one or more Chinese language lecturer position(s) expected to begin September 1, 2025, for a one-year contract without the possibility of renewal. While duty time will be based on student enrollments, we expect to fill at least one full-time position.

Experience teaching Chinese at the college level is preferred. We seek candidates with a minimum requirement of a master’s degree in disciplines such as Chinese linguistics, Chinese language pedagogy, Chinese history, Chinese literature, or related fields. Ph.D. is preferred.

Submission of a writing sample is optional (e.g., publications in Chinese or English, a dissertation chapter).
