Research Assistant Professor (PR197/16-17)

The appointee should be an excellent and independent researcher, who is active in acquiring external research grants, and enthusiastic in teaching and supervising postgraduate students.  He/She is also expected to teach two courses per academic year.

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in Chinese Studies, such as Language, Literature, Culture, or a relevant discipline.

Remuneration package includes retirement/gratuity benefits, annual leave, medical and dental scheme.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years commencing September 2017.  Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
