One-year full-time adjunct instructor in Chinese Language and Literature (Charleston, South Carolina)

The Program of Asian Studies at the College of Charleston invites applications for a one-year full-time adjunct instructor in Chinese Language and Literature, starting August 16, 2017. The candidate must be able to teach Standard Mandarin at all undergraduate levels, as well as Introduction to Asian Studies. The position is benefits-eligible, the salary is competitive, and the teaching load is 4/4.

Minimum requirement is a Masters degree in Chinese or a related area with at least 18 graduate credits in Chinese language, literature, and culture. Native or near-native command of Standard Mandarin Chinese, English required. Prior teaching experience at the college level expected.
