PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT CHANGE TO PROCEDURES for the CLTA conference, 2007

This summer the ACTFL Board at the recommendation of the ACTFL Program Committee voted to have all the co-sponsoring organizations follow the same guidelines and deadlines for submitting proposals for the 2007 convention. It was felt this process would help improve and enhance the quality of the convention program overall.

CLTA members:   Please note that the deadline for submission of proposals for papers to present at the 2007 ACTFL/CLTA Conference is December 15, 2006.

*** CLTA will not be conducting a separate Call for Proposals this year. ***

The 2007 Call is scheduled to open on October 16th. Please check the ACTFL website at http://www.actfl.org and click on the 2007 Call for Proposals. From the home page you can begin to enter your proposal. During the submission process you will see a drop-down menu listing all the co-sponsoring organizations. At that time you will have the option of submitting the proposal to CLTA. After that closing date of December 15th, all proposals submitted to CLTA will be forwarded to the CLTA review committee.

The CLTA review committee will rate the proposals and indicate whether it is accepted or rejected. The deadline for accomplishing that task will be February 28, 2007.
